    Been meaning to ask, are the anti-paddles like a small egg thing strapped to your palms as opposed to a plate!

  4. Yes, they are the opposite of paddles. They give you nothing to grip the water with. It means your arm and wrist postion needs to be perfect or you don't move very far. Like fist drills but without the tension in your arms you get by having to form fists or cheating by opening up your fist a bit. More useful than paddles themselves as it's technique rather than strength focused.
