Training Camp Stats (Cervelo S3)

Had a really good trg camp in Mallorca. Unseasonably good weather with the temperatures around 24 degrees C every day. There were a lot of Cervelos out there. The best bike (apart from mine!) was an S3 with SRAM Red/SRM and Zipp 404s. There was also saw a nice Cube with Di2 on it.

Trg Stats:

Bike (x7) - 34hrs
Run (x10) - 5hrs
Total Trg - 39hrs

Easy week coming up and then back to it. Only 10 weeks left to Roth.

  1. Only a bit jealous, although the weather here has been marvellous while you've been away!

  2. The weather hasn't been so great here and we had unseasonable cold weather in Fuerteventura, what's you secret!?

39 hours, lordy, lordy, mind you don't break!

    The Pyrenees beckon me :-)

  3. It was really nice. Alot more chilled than a triathlon camp. All the groups seemed to be well led, had a similar aim, so were just targetted at ability level. The top group was most definitely Cat1/Elite, and I wasn't in it. Lol. I went in to the camp very fit, with concrete goals and managed not to get injured or ill. Result! I did hr cap all my riding to below 150bpm (I did hit 156bpm on one of the climbs!) so no over-reaching occured, hopefully. My resting hr is down to 38bpm. :-)

I think you'd both really like this camp. (The food in the hotel was a bit Fawlty Towers though.)
