Food Temptations

I felt like eating a lot of food after my training today but I resisted. A recovery shake, an apple and some pineapple with admittedly 3 bowls of homemade vegetable soup for dinner.

Trg today:

5hr Computrainer ride incl intervals.
30min transition run.

I have never worn so much clothing indoors to exercise and still been cold (and sweaty!!!). It was 3 degrees C in the garage. I had full winter gear on sans the jacket.

  1. 5 hours??? I've been there and done that, but only once, and have no intention of doing it again. No wonder you were hungry.

  2. You should be eating more than that after a 5 hour ride - where was the real food protein (and I don't include the recovery shake)?

    If you were really hungry you should eat or your body will start eating itself to recover.
