LOL! Actually I had to get out of the saddle and move my weight forward because the front wheel was taking off (it was that steep!) half way up my heart rate was 187 and I really did wonder if I'd make it. That was with a triple 30-25 - I have since fitted an 11-28 on the back so the Pyrenees should be easy peasy!
I should think so after that training week!
ReplyDeleteI rode 52 miler yesterday with Dave, up a 1:3 hill at one point; I made it, be all that deadlifting over 50 kgs me thinks!
You mean you got out of the saddle and powered. Lol. Only those of us with quads of steel can do that! :-)
